Kaiserwetter in New Orleans, both of us drowned, what a pitty =)

New Orleans is the home of tobasco and hot sauces (bought myself a bottle of Dave`s insanity =)

Typical Jackson Square touristy shot:

Great live Blues music while we enjoyed a cafe au lait in the Cafe du monde near Mississippi river:

Big night out:

From New Orleans to Los Angeles: an adventurous road trip lies ahead!
Taking off this Wednesday from Munich (thank you Betti for letting us stay at your place!) and heading to New Orleans, we plan to finally arrive in Los Angeles at Friday, Nov 9th. Some hundred miles to go.
Let me give you a rough schedule of our trip, staring at the end: In L.A. we’ll visit a NBA game of Lakers vs. Timberwolves and meet some locals (Regina & her husband, Silvia & Kathi). In between there’ll be a mixture of cities like Las Vegas, San Francisco, Dallas and landscapes like Monument Valley, national parks, mountains and deserts.
First of all we’ll spend some days in New Orleans, using Jazz and fresh Mississippi water to get accustomed to the American way of life.
I’m going to keep you up to date with our traveling advances through this blog and an invention called flickr.
